Important safety notice: Signa-Ful Zone is a communication aid, not a guaranteed lifeline. Always carry multiple forms of emergency communication and inform someone of your plans before traveling in remote or high-risk areas.

1. Communication Aid Only

Signa-Ful Zone is designed to help users send location and distress signals in emergencies. It is not a substitute for professional emergency services (911, EMS, search-and-rescue), satellite communicators with active subscriptions, personal locator beacons (PLBs), or proper outdoor preparation, training, and equipment.

2. No Guarantee of Connectivity

The Service relies on a combination of satellite, cellular, and other signaling pathways. We do not guarantee that any signal will be sent, received, delivered to emergency responders, or acted upon. Connectivity and signal delivery can fail or be delayed due to:

  • Severe weather, terrain, structures, or other environmental conditions
  • Device hardware failure, low battery, or damage
  • Lack of satellite or cellular coverage in your area
  • Third-party network or service provider outages
  • Software bugs, server outages, or maintenance
  • Local laws or regulations restricting emergency communications

3. Always Carry Backup

You should never rely on Signa-Ful Zone as your only emergency communication tool. We strongly recommend that you:

  • Carry a dedicated personal locator beacon (PLB) or satellite communicator (e.g., Garmin inReach, ACR ResQLink, Zoleo) when in remote areas.
  • File a trip plan with a trusted contact before you depart.
  • Carry adequate water, food, shelter, and first-aid supplies.
  • Know the limits of your skills, equipment, and the environment.
  • Call 911 or your local emergency number directly whenever possible.

4. Assumption of Risk

Outdoor, remote, and emergency activities carry inherent risks, including serious injury or death. By using Signa-Ful Zone, you acknowledge and accept those risks and agree that you are solely responsible for your decisions, preparation, and safety.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNA-FUL TECHNOLOGY LLC, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER LOSS RESULTING FROM USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE — INCLUDING FAILURE OF ANY SIGNAL TO BE TRANSMITTED, RECEIVED, OR ACTED UPON. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
